⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣[S⁣ynopsis] ⁣After the new emperor ascended the throne, Xiao Huaixuan, the Sixth Prince of the fallen dynasty, fled with his servant. During their escape, he was captured by Lu Zheng, the founding general of the new regime. Instead of handing him over, Lu Zheng secretly hid the prince within his own general's mansion.
The prince had no memory of the general. Lu Zheng recounted how they'd met before and confessed his long-held admiration. He went out of his way to please the prince, but Xiao Huaixuan remained unmoved. He refused to be a captive plaything, kept under lock and key for the general's pleasure.
When Lu Zheng discovered the prince's gift of an embroidered sachet was actually a tool to send messages to his maternal clan, he flew into a rage. In his fury, he forced himself on the prince. Broken and defiant, Xiao Huaixuan spat out that between them, there was no "give and take" – only "kill or be killed."
